A superb English full-plate fusee movement in an 18ct gold hunting case, hallmarked London 1887 (maker: Edward Prior & Sons). The white enamel dial is flawless — no chips, hairlines or restoration. Roman numerals, blued steel hands.
The movement is clean, ticks strongly, and holds time well. Chain-fusee detent escapement. The outer case bears light wear consistent with honest use over its 130-year life.
